Welcome to the world of online martial arts, where technology has become an invaluable ally to its timeless and traditional values.
Technology is dramatically reshaping the martial arts landscape, delivering a host of specific advantages that we have capitalized on and especially designed for our students. From our vast digital libraries packed with instructional resources to immersive video learning models that break down our techniques step by step, technology is revolutionizing the way martial artists master their craft.
It is also expanding the flexibility and accessibility that so many individuals seek, allowing martial arts enthusiasts to adapt their training schedules to their busy lives. Whether you’re a parent seeking flexibility for your child or an adult who is overwhelmed with the daily grind, online training gives you the flexibility you need.
We have created such an exciting opportunity to explore the world of online martial arts, a journey where the advantages of technology are crystal clear. Uncover the digital dojo’s potential to enhance your skills, elevate your comprehension, and redefine what it means to be a martial artist in the 21st century. In this realm, tradition and innovation converge, and the future of martial arts training is at your fingertips, empowering you to become the best version of yourself.
Innovation in Education
The advantages of incorporating technology into a martial arts program are not a mere convenience; it is the key to unlocking your full potential as a martial artist.
In our digital dojo, the power of knowledge is limitless. Our extensive online libraries house a treasure trove of instructional materials, offering insights from renowned masters that would have been unthinkable in the past. In a traditional dojo, you may have access to an instructor or two – however, within our online classroom, you will be trained by masters from across the country with decades of experience.
When we embarked on the journey to create a comprehensive video archive for our martial arts discipline, we first meticulously designed a road map that precisely outlined what skills were required for each level of martial arts training beginning from the first day to the achievement of Master (5th Degree Black Belt). This in itself was an enormous undertaking. Our online library now stands as the most extensive compilation of martial arts curriculum ever assembled, boasting nearly 3 terabytes of video data accumulated over more than a decade, covering all the requisite skills.
All of this culminates into an exceptional learning experience that surpasses traditional in-class models by nearly 50%.

This library consists of hundreds of challenges, which are carefully demonstrated by our instructors and especially designed to bring you step-by-step to your goal.
In our video modeling skill-based challenge method of education, students watch, learn, and practice. Once they feel confident in their ability to execute the skill, they record themselves demonstrating the challenge.
The upload is reviewed by their instructor who will then provide feedback to increase their proficiency. This style of learning not only provides a multi-functional approach that satisfies a student with multiple learning styles, but also promotes retention and a more thorough comprehension of the material.
Research has shown that video modeling is a potent tool in the educational environment, and with the prominent use of technology, there is truly no reason to deny access to its advantages. Jennifer Schmidt, an Intervention Specialist and Special Education Adjunct Professor with Wright State University, stated “Video modeling is an effective teaching tool for all types of students. It provides engagement, focus, and the opportunity for the student to recognize small details” (Schmidt, 2023).
Because video modeling allows students to preserve a “memorialization” of their learning journey, it means that you can deconstruct your techniques, analyze your movements, and refine your form with unparalleled precision, all at your own pace. Not only is this a great way for students to remember their journey, but it is essentially a mirror of their progress – an opportunity for them to analyze themselves and their evolution in skill as they recognize their own areas of improvement.
An important concept to mention here is the idea of movement and demonstration to induce retention/comprehension: a study published within Frontiers in Psychology (2012) mentions that the correlation between learning and performing associated gestures and movements improves retention and cognitive abilities. The implications of this conjecture state that video modeling (especially in areas like martial arts) could very well become an essential piece of the online educational environment, given that students are more likely to retain and comprehend information if they are able to connect physically with it as they learn.
Flexibility, Convenience, and Personalized Attention
In today’s fast-paced environment, one of the most significant challenges we face is our inability to sacrifice time.
Flexibility and convenience are paramount, from what we eat for dinner to our extracurricular activities. Each moment must be utilized wisely, and we took this concern very seriously.
Our program is designed to function anytime, anywhere. If you have the room to practice safely, you can train. Our challenges can be performed and uploaded wherever you have a Wi-Fi connection or cell phone signal, and that flexibility is invaluable. Imagine breaking free from the constraints of a once-per-week class where your material is forgotten by your next session, or it takes you months upon months to reach your next belt. Now, you can train daily with no interruptions.
Aside from the incredible flexibility, our program also has a built-in advantage that is absent from traditional dojo classes: one-on-one training with personalized feedback.
One of the most difficult aspects of group martial arts training is the expectation to “keep up with the group”. If you have physical restrictions or other challenges, it isn’t always possible. Because our program is self-paced, not only can you progress when you’re ready, but your instructor is with you at every step giving you feedback on every challenge you submit. You have the advantage of private training in the comfort of your own home, on your schedule…and not for private training prices!
Believing Through Achieving has created a learning module that has cornered the market on flexibility, convenience, and integrated the advantages of private training all under the umbrella of a technological revolution that provides the largest martial arts curriculum ever assembled.
It’s clear that the dynamic combination of tradition and technology has ushered in a new era of accessibility, convenience, and excellence within the martial arts world. The advantages are profound:
- Digital Libraries: Extensive resources at your fingertips, offering insights from martial arts masters around the country, making wisdom accessible regardless of your location.
- Video Learning Models: Step-by-step tutorials and in-depth demonstrations that break down techniques, providing clarity and precision in your practice.
- Your Memorialized Videos: A preservation of your progress available to you anytime so you can practice, improve, and elevate your skills.
- Flexibility and Convenience: The freedom to train on your schedule, whether you’re an early riser, a night owl, or balancing martial arts with a busy lifestyle.
- Personalized Instruction: Tailored feedback and progress tracking to help you refine your skills and set achievable goals.
In our digital dojo, the path to your martial arts journey becomes more inclusive and adaptable than ever before. As we embrace the advantages of technology in our training, we must remember that the core principles of martial arts remain —respect, perseverance, and the pursuit of continuous improvement.
So, whether you’re a beginner in the arts or a seasoned practitioner, know that the blending of tradition and innovation is not a compromise but a powerful evolution. With technology as your ally, you have the tools to refine your skills, deepen your understanding, and reach your full potential as a martial artist.
Harness the power of technology, embrace our digital dojo, and embark on a journey where martial arts meets the limitless possibilities of the digital age. Train hard, stay disciplined, and continue to evolve, because the only limits you face are the ones you set for yourself.
